The restored 800-square-foot garden apartment has an antique mantel, wainscoting, pocket doors, hardwood floors and restored plaster walls and ceilings. The kitchen is small but has brand new stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher. The bathroom is also newly renovated and has its original clawfoot tub. The 1890s-era brownstone at 622 Jefferson was an Open House Pick in 2009, and it looks like the new owner has taken good care of it! What’s your opinion on this apartment for $2,200 a month?

this is a great location in the neighborhood, and the renovation looks really well done, but idk… i’d’ve thought this is $200-$400 too expensive. i’m planning to bring an apt to market in early 2014, though, so i can’t say this doesn’t make me happy. mine should be similarly renovated, but it’s a few blocks east — i was HOPING for $1600-$1700.
