Lady Moo-Moo Opens on a Hot Day

Lady Moo-Moo opened for business today at 365 Chauncey Street in Bed Stuy. Turns out they are a retail outpost for nearby ice cream and gelato wholesaler Mont Blanc Dessert, which specializes in custom flavors for restaurants. Both businesses were started by a former pastry chef for Jean Georges, Benoit Gerin. “Our ice cream is premium quality, but the prices are low for the neighborhood,” Gerin said. A kid scoop is $1.25, and one scoop is $2.50. Wholesale-size containers will also be available.
