Brownstoner Queens Looking for a Writer

Now that the cat’s out of the bag, we are turning to the pressing task of finding a writer to anchor the editorial operations at Brownstoner Queens. Some experience writing about Queens preferred as is a general fluency and interest in real estate; Queens residency also strongly preferred. The job will consist of preparing Daily Links, reblogging relevant news stories as well as creating original content (which could include everything from attending community board meetings to doing a walk-through of a new highrise). The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm and curiosity about the borough (its architecture, food, bike lanes, etc.), as well as a facility with a digital camera and WordPress. The position could end up being full time, or slightly less than full time to accommodate some other freelance work.
