The Toren supermarket is finally open. The store soft opened on Labor Day, pretty much on schedule with what we last heard about the supermarket plans. It’s a Metropolitan Citymarket, which has a few locations in Brooklyn. Plans for a supermarket here were up in the air for two years, so this is probably a very welcome addition for Toren (and Downtown Brooklyn) residents.
