On the Waterfront: Tour of Brooklyn Bridge Park
Matt Postal, architectural historian, will lead a Municipal Arts Society-sponsored tour of Brooklyn Bridge Park. The tour will explore evidence of Brooklyn’s mercantile past, examine links to the adjoining historic districts and its influence on the park’s design.
Wednesday, July 27th, 6–8 p.m., meet outside the York St. Station, at the corner of Jay St; $15, $10 MAS members.

Tour the Grand Institutions of Clinton Hill
The Historic Districts Council is leading a tour of three of Clinton Hill’s turn-of-the-century structures, Our Lady Queen of All Saints, the Pratt Library and the Caroline Ladd Pratt House.
Wednesday, July 27th, 5:30pm; $100/$75 Friends of HDC.

POV Short Cuts
A collection of short documentary films, POV Short Cuts (2011, 60 min.) covers subjects ranging from bird watching and Tiffany lamps to Sunday school teachers and family relationships, and includes a collection of films from StoryCorp. StoryCorp producer Lizzie Jacobs and StoryCorp filmmakers Mike and Tim Rauch will be on hand for a Q&A after the screening.
