This is old news (by blog standards) by now, but with some help from a television show last week, Brooklyn Farmacy is finally ready to open at 214 Sackett Street in Carroll Gardens. After years of sitting boarded up, the former Vermont Pharmacy is set for a soft opening the weekend of May 14th after a crash visit from The Discovery Channel show “The Construction Intervention.” Check out Cobble Hill Blog for some more pictures of the interior, which sports an old fashioned soda fountain and will feature lots of local food (much of which will be familiar to regular visitors to the Brooklyn Flea).

  1. I know one of the guys that is behind this…. I actually haven’t seen him in 10 years. I need to stop by and say hi. This post makes me feel very guilty for not doing this sooner!

  2. The Egg Creams they were handing out last Thursday were delicious! It’s a gorgeous space too. Would love to see it succeed as a neighborhood gathering place and market.
