It looks to us like Demolition Depot recently bought the entire contents of an old house and is selling off the interior fixtures piecemeal. This is a nice looking bannister (though the spindles aren’t standard brownstone fare) and this old corner tub is exactly what we were looking for back when we were doing our reno. But why would anyone try to install an overweight monstrosity like that tub when there are SCADS of high-style, lightweight acrylic tubs with significantly greater functionality that will look good and won’t cause your floors to sag as much. It’s a win-win situation. Is it really worth it to create a 100-yr. old pristine museum-of-a-house?
