From the Forum: How Is Water Getting Into the Basement?
Heavy rains are bringing water into a finished basement and the homeowner is looking for a solution.
Heavy rains are bringing water into a finished basement and the homeowner is looking for a solution. The water only appears with a heavy rain in two locations, by the exterior door and a bit further into the space, near a sidewall. The water has a bit of sand in it and the homeowner is wondering if it could be groundwater. The drain by the entrance door appears to be working and the homeowner made sure the door was properly sealed. How could the water be entering the basement?
Please chime in with any advice.
