From the Forum: How Can a Landlord Minimize Wall Damage From Tenants?
A landlord hopes to minimize the damage tenants will cause when hanging window coverings in a recently renovated rental.
A reader completed renovations on a rental unit in their brownstone and is concerned about damage that may result from tenants trying to hang window coverings. They are looking for ideas on how to limit the holes punched into the freshly finished walls. Should they install blinds before tenants move in, provide tenants with guidance on installation, or are there other options?
Please chime in any advice.
