From the Forum: Is My Landlord Charging Too Much for Laundry?

A Brownstoner reader was supposed to have laundry access included in the rent for their apartment in a four-family house. But the landlord didn’t set up the laundry room until 11 months into the lease, and is now asking for a $50-per-month charge for laundry with the promise of no rent increase for the next year.

Does that seem like an excessive fee to be able to use the machines? Is it worth pushing back on the landlord? Share your thoughts below.
