A homeowner is facing an unfinished project and a contractor who is no longer showing up to the job or responding to messages.
A homeowner is facing an unfinished project and a contractor who is no longer showing up to the job or responding to messages. The homeowner has not made the final payment so could move forward with another contractor but is not sure what to do about the equipment that was left behind. They need to get rid of all the stuff so the project can be finished but are not sure what actions would be legal. Can they just toss out everything he left?
Please chime in with your advice.
