The popular Crosby Street tapas spot ñ is expanding to the downstairs space underneath Rice at 81 Washington Street in Dumbo. The impetus for the move actually goes back to 1999, reports Grub Street, when Jed Walentas asked owner David Selig a note on a napkin asking him if he’d like to open in Dumbo. It’s going to be a pretty easy transition from the Speak Low lounge that’s currently there, given that Selig owns both Rice and ñ. The official opening party is tomorrow night, but we just popped by and learned that there will be a soft opening this even. Suh-weeeeet!
