If the original timetable had been adhered to, the renovation of the nine-story Emanuel Celler Courthouse at 225 Cadman Plaza in Downtown Brooklyn would be reaching completion right about now. Commenced in 2002 in the wake of 9/11, $49 million project includes a seismic retrofit and the installation of blast protection in addition to less doomsday improvements like upgrading HVAC, plumbing and elevator systems. So where are we today? Dunno. We were hoping one of you could tell us.
