Brooklyn Independent Cinema Series
Tonight at 7 p.m., the Brooklyn Independent Cinema Series takes place at Barbés in Park Slope. Short films include such titles as “The Subconscious Art of Graffiti Removal” and “Divorce Lemonade” (above). Admission is free. Barbés is located at 376 9th Street.

Community Board 6 Holiday Party
The group Friends of Community Board 6 is throwing its annual holiday fundraiser tonight at the Union Smith Cafe. Thirty tax-deductible bucks get you inside where there will be free hors d’oeuvres and raffle prizes. Cash bar. The party kicks off at 6 p.m. Union Smith Cafe is located at 305 Smith Street.
