Remember yesterday’s post in which we marveled at the $900 a foot that was paid for the two-story building at 136-76 39th Avenue in Flushing? We mentioned that a similar price had been paid for the neighboring property at 136-82 39th Avenue two years earlier. (The actual price was $6,350,000 for 7,350 square feet.) Now the buyer is in the midst of maxing out his investment by adding another four floors to the existing two-story structure. According to the DOB permit approved in May 2012, the new building will remain entirely commercial and will top out at 72 feet high. GMAP
