ferm LIVING is rooted in Denmark, where Trine Andersen founded a graphic design studio in 2005. The decision to start her own business sprang from a personal vision of a bird on a branch, ready to take off. That bird remains a part of the ferm LIVING logo today.
ferm LIVING soon expanded into design and interior products. As Trine found herself unable to find wallpaper with the kind of graphic design she wanted, she took matters into her own hands – and her first wallpaper collection was launched in February 2006. The response from design-conscious audiences worldwide was overwhelming, and now a full and constant growing range of interior products is available around the globe. Besides sales on the homemarket, Denmark, ferm LIVING work closely together with agents/distributors around the world. Even so, all designs remain rooted in the Danish soil, where it all began.
