Rudy’s Bakery and Cafe has been a Ridgewood staple since 1934. For 80 years, we have stayed true to our roots as a German Bakery serving Black Forest Cake, Bienenstich, and Strudle.

Rudy’s has recently undergone some exciting changes and is now called Rudy’s Bakery and Cafe. With the addition of the cafe, a new Pastry Chef Cristina Nastasi former pastry chef of the cafes at MOMA joined the Rudy’s team. Cristina has added modern day desserts such as Flourless Chocolate Cake, Oatmeal Marshmallow Sandwiches and Salted Caramel Cake, as well as Vegan and Gluten Free treats.

We carry gelato all year round and Seasonal Beverages like Homemade Dark Hot Chocolate in the winter and Iced Nutella Latte in the summer.

We make specialty cakes for all occasions as well as Fondant Cakes.
