DEMO is led by licensed architects Daniel Kidd and Alessandro Ronfini and consists of a team of five in-house professionals. Our adaptable design approach combines creativity and technical knowledge to offer complete architectural and interior design services. We are passionate about finding the right design solutions without breaking the budget.
As Certified Passive House Designers, we strive to create healthy, comfortable, and energy-efficient buildings that improve the lives of their inhabitants and communities. With 35 years of experience in the design and construction industry, we specialize in brownstones, townhouses, and apartment renovations in all 5 boroughs of New York City.

Demo Architects had the technical expertise and track record with other similar builds to bring our project together even better than we hoped and guided our contractor, who had not built a house before with the insulation layers and specialized HVAC system required of a US Energy Star certified home (which gets us a nice tax rebate.) They also guided us on the interiors, finding clever cost savings wherever possible, like the salvaged blue tub we would easily have tossed that is now is the beautiful centerpiece of our slate black floor and white mosaic tile wall bathroom.
