Lorraine Bonaventura Architect’s work has been featured in the New York Times, Design Bureau, New York Cottages & Gardens, LONNY, Remodelista and Interior Design, as well as other design blogs and several books on design. Bonaventura combines a thoughtful, modernist sensibility with an emphasis on comfort, livability, and practicality. Her work is featured on the cover of the upcoming book “City Farmhouse Style,” to be published by Abrams in September 2017.

Bonaventura believes in a collaborative design approach; LBA responds to both the project context and our client’s goals. Beyond design, Bonaventura manages the complex process of building and furnishing a project: from analyzing codes to navigating cooperative boards and public agencies; from coordinating with consultants to delivering well-documented plans; from sketching custom furniture to inspecting it at the workroom — a process that begins with the first conversation until moving day.
