I was talking about zip code 10128 as mostly renters.
Most people are NOT renters. 75% of people in the uS own their homes.
also – only small group (much more prosperous than average ) is in market or does buy something. Most people are renters.
maybe I’m missing something here… how can you afford to buy a $750k home on a $40k income?
I always wonder who does these surveys, because as someone who has been looking for quite some time, I can tell you that the homes I have been looking at (which I believe are somewhere around this “median”) seem to have gone up substantially more than 5.3%.
