What do you do when you’ve sold 51 out of 55 units and the market’s in the crapper? Cut prices and go home. That’s the plan at the Aqua Condominium at 415 Leonard Street in Greenpoint. Overlooking McCarren Park, the Aqua hit the market in late 2007 and most units had closed already by the time Lehman collapsed. pretty sure this place has a parking lot too. not sure if there’s available spaces left, but would be worth it to ask.
The developers dodged a bullet there. But if they really want to go home they are still going to need to slash those prices. 10% is fantasy land.
