25-27 Lexington Avenue, the handsome Clinton Hill industrial building that was once slated to be a conversion, sold for $2.5 million, according to a press release sent out by Terra CRG, the brokerage that handled the deal. The sellers of the building planned to convert it into a 24-unit apartment designed by Karl Fischer but had to “cut their losses,” the press release said. The new owners will keep it as a commercial building for the time being. The building hit the market for $2.9 million over the summer.
