You need to enclose the meters in a glass case like they do at the MOSS store in SOHO.

It’s also nice to see that someone could mess with the tenants, and turn the shut off valve on the gas. That would be a cold night until keyspan showed up. ;P
Yep, they’re ugly and ditto for the doors, house numbers and lighting. Maybe they were going for anti-curb appeal.
