this place will have value. the views aren’t going anywhere. also, i think it will be high end unlike the mill. i love the gretsch, but this is a better location. i have similar views that are extensive from my roof top deck (which will not get blocked as i am directly east of the state park), and it really doesn’t get old.
maybe when the freedom tower is built where the twin towers were the view will improve?
I think these will sell, but everything east of the waterfront will have some problems.
If I was going to buy in the nabe, I’d much rather get a resale at the Gretsch or Mill Building then buy at the Edge or NSP.
The oil slick hasn’t even crossed west of McGuiness, let alone get to Williamsburg.
Who cares about the smokestacks, when your brain is falling apart from living over an oil slick.
Well why don’t you just look at the lovely Stuy Town instead, just to the right.
I don’t find looking out at smokestacks all that magnificent. Especially on days when the wind is blowing east, which I guess is most days.
Nothin’ screams luxury like full views of the power plant….
This could not be worse timing. These are going to sit here mostly unsold for years.
