the kingsland avenue building was erected in what is practically a toxic waste dump, and, as an added bonus, it’s just a stone’s throw from the newtown creek SEWAGE PROCESSING plant, which does NOT meet the EPA’s ‘clean water act’ standards, and of course there’s the oil slick. why in the world would a developer … oh never mind, i’ll just go back to hating everybody. harumph.
I guess the Park Slope market is still strong and people with money see that it is valuable.
