About that first listing: is there no livingroom? Are you supposed to just live in your bedroom and cook in the kitchen and hang out somewhere else? And why no pictures of the backyard? I can’t imagine paying $1100/month for a share with no living room and a ten-minute walk to the G.
Greenpoint has always been a great place. Just took a while for some to figure it out.
Sounds like 12:58 got priced out of Greenpoint and is a bit miffed.
as a former resident of greenpoint i can’t believe how expensive it has become. it was cheap when I was living there 2000-2004. oh the times have changed.

re #4 – I imagine a broker saw it was underpriced ($1600) and got on to the owner straightaway telling him he’ll make him a killing.
