Rental of the Day: One-Bedroom With Patio and Garden in Park Slope

It’s got a shotgun layout, living/dining room in front, bedroom in back, kitchen in the middle. The living room is a mere 8 feet wide — the bedroom opens up to a relatively spacious 10 feet.
The kitchen is quite attractive, with dark-wood cabinets, a white Caesarstone countertop and stainless steel appliances. It’s got cherry hardwood floors, as does the rest of the apartment.
The bedroom opens up to a bluestone patio that’s 15 feet by 11 feet; beyond that a garden sprawls out for another 30 feet.
With windows only at the front and back it’s likely the place doesn’t exactly get bathed in sunlight, and there may be some street noise in the front. It’s a nice block, though, and close to Prospect Park. There’s laundry in the building.
The apartment was put up for rent through Douglas Elliman in June; it’s now at Compass for the same price, listed by Debra Kameros and Susan Weiner. How do you like the place?

Garden looks nice but $2,850 is ludicrous. No wonder it hasn’t moved. Gardens aren’t useful 6 months out of the year and 540 sf is a smallll one bedroom.
