Rental of the Day: 489 Park Place, #2

This four-bedroom, two-bath apartment in Crown Heights, just near the border of Prospect Heights, looks very tasteful for a gut renovation. The dark wood flooring and dark blue cabinetry are nice touches, as well as the Carrara marble in the bathroom. The master bedroom is decently sized but the other three bedrooms look pretty small — appropriate for kids, office space, or roommates who pay less rent than the resident of the master bedroom. There’s also central air and storage available in the basement. The location is pretty convenient too, with a five- to six-block walk to the 2/3 at Eastern Parkway and the 2/3/4/5 at Franklin. What do you think of the finishes and the space for $4,500 a month?
