Sorry cranky folks, those are the rents over there now (and I’m not a broker, just someone who has been watching)… and yes, if you have a place for less keep it! Also, more4less you are right that “church” rented for those prices and fast… Next time you go to the flea walk down clinton from gates to willoughby – it is an incredible stretch – imho way more interesting than “prime carrol gardens or brooklyn heights”..I guess other people think so too!
Hope the new renters, whoever they are, enjoy their spot!
I stopped enjoying the G after Poster Boy got arrested. His art amused me as I waited for the G.
that recently renovated church 2 blocks south toward the C train got rented crazy ass fast too and they were asking some bucks (ie was it 5.5k for a 2 bdrm). crazy shit.
DH, I noticed that with the G too. waits are shorter
Thomas the Crank Engine?
I will miss the G. It rarely lets me down, and it is the subway equivalent of a little English branch line going from Nether Wallop to Middle Wallop.
dh, the G has gotten better. Seems to be more trains as the waits are not as long as sorrow anymore.
You can get a two bedroom with private outdoor space in prime Carroll Gardens or Brooklyn Heights for this price or less. Crazy ask, and if “itsthebigguy”s info is correct, even crazier person who scooped this up for $1,000 too much each month.
putnam, yes it was. Funny we were just talking about this at coop meeting friday night.
Wasn’t this previously a group home for teens? Must have been renovated.
