check back to June 21 face-off for $2.8m
Amity vs. Clinton St.
I don’t see the Clinton house listed anymore or the sale recorded but the
134 Amity Street house did sell for the $2.8m
according to email I received today from propshark.
I’m pretty sure the 17th St. house was actually listed for $889,000, not $839,000.
Actually, the activity with the 17th street house was a few months ago so I do not think it says much about conditions today since so far it seems like much has changed since then.
And, indeed it is not Park Slope.
So much for that slow down that everyone is trying to make happen.
The fact that 17th st pushed a mil is a sure sign that the market is still hot. This must be a record for Greenwood Heights or very close to it.
BTW, this is on the other side of the Prospect Expressway so it’s not really Park Slope.
I was in on the bidding for the 17th Street house. I think we stopped at $905,000. The house had a lot of charm despite facing the highway (you couldn’t really tell though at that stretch of the street/highway.) But yes, surprising it went that far over the asking.
It is a quite large jump over ask. The house was quite nice, but it faces the highway. I am pretty surprised it went so high.
That is a huge amount over ask for the 17th street house, though, isn’t it? 17-18% or so.
Whoops. Typo. Sorry.
Come again? Asking price 395k, selling 1.3? Ahhh.. we’re BACK!
