Poor Palm Beach. According to a recent article on Costar, the folks that have brought Brooklyn such upstanding establishments as the Lefferts Prince Hotel and the Schermerhorn Prince Hotel (both of which have been shuttered in recent years for various Buildings Department and a variety of, ahem, quality of life issues) are expanding their operations to Florida. Under the name Prince David LLC, the group acquired a 50 percent interest in the Glades Glen Apartments, a 384-unit complex with high vacancy rates and in desperate need of a couple million bucks of improvements. Hmmm, wonder if they’ll invest in the property or turn it into another den of iniquity?

Violations are massive. These guys are all over brooklyn and worse than roaches
Also the “Prince Classon Hotel” (also known as the “Pleasant Stay Hotel”) at 547 Classon Avenue, Block 1994 Lot 1.
This is owned by Prince Classon LLC and there is common ownership with Prince Lefferts LLC — i.e., Acris records show that Moses Fried is a member of both companies.
The Prince Classon Hotel is just a few hundred feet away from the Prince Lefferts Hotel at 127 Lefferts Place and exhibits all of the same bad characteristics …
Note that the adjacent property, at 545 Classon Avenue (Block/Lot 1994/2), is also owned by Prince Classon LLC via David Tepper, who is listed under a common address with Prince Lefferts and Prince Classon. Department of Buildings BIS records show violations for Class B occupancy (i.e. transient hotel) contrary to CofO. Looks like they are combining 545 and 547 just as they sought to do at 125 and 127 Lefferts Place !!
Fingers crossed that the no-tel motel on Schermerhorn does not reopen!
