My point was that realtors are always bemoaning that there is “no inventory” to explain high asks but when houses go on sale, they wallow in the market for months and months and often don’t sell at all. So if people are not buying the houses that are up for sale, why worry about lack of inventory? Do they want to see hundreds of houses not selling rather than merely dozens not selling?
but brooklyn is a city of old wrecked houses. that is the inventory.
