mcKenzie = hahahahah!!!! really though i couldn’t live with every saturday like its purim. some equity is worth leaving on the table.
otherwise this batch was a game of “test the suckers”. so at least we know the market is sane.
to top off the absurd prices that garnered no interest, mary kay raises the price in what would almost appear to be a parody with a wink and nod to the old days for shit and giggles. but, since we know they wouldn’t play like children with people’s houses for laughs, i’m gonna say – despite how respected she is – its kind of a credibility killer. maybe the kids have taken over the place now. either way it just seems like silliness.
overall, quite a colorful batch of characters for no sales.
Corcoran doesn’t really know Victorian Flatbush and has historically overpriced homes here. Surprisingly with their advertising and different client base they have sold some overpriced homes.
Seems like buyers would know that Corcoran overprices like this across the board. Expect Marlborough Rd to still be listed somewhere in another 6 months, unless the seller is willing to take under a million.
Pretty terrible, but then it wasn’t a great batch to start with. All really spectacularly overpriced (except for Marlborough, which was just a bit overpriced, but maybe the owners didn’t want to play ball.)
Hey! Ishtar is planning to buy the Macon St. house. Here’s what s/he said about it six months ago:
“Even though I want to stay in CH, if that Macon house is still on the market come spring I’ll low ball them. LOL.”

Now you’re talking!
Corcoran gets on my last nerve …
we need to build more Syrian synagogues to boost some of these prices.

I always literally laugh out loud when I see realtors INCREASE listing prices. Hilarious.
