Open House Picks

clinton hill home- low ceilings, don’t love kitchen, (looks kind of cheap) but from the pics it looks like it has nice lighting

mdmh, I agree that Bay Ridge house is overpriced. We’ve gone to a few open houses down there recently and seems like similar places are starting with the number “7”, not “8”! That said, I haven’t seen this one so I may be missing something.

NYGuy7, I went inside it during an open house a couple of weeks ago. There’s an extension on the back for the first floor. It’s supposed to be delivered vacant, although there was still someone in the top floor. The inside is pretty typical for a multi-family brownstone that’s had the same owner forever in Carroll Gardens. I’m not sure someone who has the money to turn it into a single family home would want to live on Court St, or whether the numbers would work with rental income.

The Bay Ridge house is directly behind mine (and weird because the backyard is a few feet higher so they can see right over our fence into our yard.) I think it’s way overpriced as it doesn’t look like it’s been renovated. There is no longer a daycare in the building, but it’s basically set up as 3 rentals I think. Just curious what folks think of the asking price….
