Wasn’t the 1st st house just discussed here? It sold for 1.775 in 2005, so selling for 2010 is basically flat (in fact, since current owner appears to have renovated, they must have lost money especially given closing costs, brokers fees, etc.). Indeed, they are lucky to have gotten 1.8 though.
the 318 1st St guys really worked that one. they wanted someone to rent it back to them, plus all the creepy IV stations in the basement. give them credit for hanging along for the ride, it was a bumble-headed sale but they still got whole.
The WT was a complete gut, close to 11th ave prospect expy exit and prospect avenue (double yuk), if you don’t mind the traffic perhaps it would work. Close to the school though. Really nice old gentleman long time neighborhood fam. who sold the building. I’d be surprised if it went for more than 999, it was quite overpriced to begin with, but pretty bones.
Note: de-listers are people who didn’t have to sell. Open house picks this time should have more of the same this week in 6 months.

Not too inspiring for the bulls. That being said, I’m surprised that 1st St house went for $1.8 (albeit after a $500k haircut). I checked it out and wasn’t too impressed.
Where are the bulls?
