Park Slope Condo [Brown Harris Stevens]
You can get a nice stainless gas range for less than $1,000. Take a pill.
An electric range is NEVER replacable in exchange for ANYTHING. And on this topic, there will be NO DEBATE!!!
Why is it that some folks on this site don’t understand that not everyone has money for renovating an old brownstone? Many, many people only have the minimum downpayment and approval for a regular mortgage (not construction loan). It is not financially possible for everyone to pay rent + mortgage while waiting for renovations to finish.
So..a big space like this would be a great deal for a family. Otherwise in this price range in this neighborhood, you’re looking at 700sq ft? Not worth it for a couple with a kid. The electric range is replacable in exchange for the sq footage.
It’s such a pretty block.
The reasons the haters hate it are good enough reasons, but the price certainly reflects the downsides to the property. So I don’t understand the fussing and bi**ing here. Everybody get over it. If this were a 3 BR condo on that block with better layout and gourmet kitchen with a stainless gas range, it would not be listed at that price.
garfield place between 6 & 7th ave.
such haters on this site…its pathetic!
This building is NOT a brownstone – it was built as a tenanment.
Brownstones typically have 2 rooms per floor, with 3-story ones having a master bedroom on one side and 2 smaller bedrooms on the other.
Hmmm … aren’t most brownstones essentially railroads in layout?
no wonder why they don’t show the floor plan on the other page. these are bought by people who are afraid to leave park slope. Scary floor plan and a walk up? When you are not tucking your kid into the closet you are hauling them up the stairs. not a bad price but you pay for it in other ways.
