The estimated price of $290,000 may look tempting, but make sure you read the Property Report before handing any money over to HUD: problems include mold, water damage and unsafe oil tanks in the basement. Even worse, we hear Scarano’s been rushing to get the foundation poured on a 40-story tower next door before this part of Crown Heights Brownsville gets downzoned!

It would be much easier to tear it down and start over. With all those problems, just tear it down and throw it out!!
