  1. Wow, PS house sold for 350K under ask. More proof of price cuts/lower offers being accepted by sellers. Several houses we’ve looked at recently in prime Bklyn have had price cuts. And more probably still to come – or maybe sellers will just start pricing more realistically to begin with (which would be healthy for the market). But sellers shouldn’t panic – you can be sure they’ll still make a killing over what they paid (as long as they bought before 2005).

  2. Yes, that’s how Midwood generally rolls for a house like this. Wood frames frequently face the wrecking ball. New stucco and brick homes go up in place. , not apartment buildings, for the most part.
