Wow, PS house sold for 350K under ask. More proof of price cuts/lower offers being accepted by sellers. Several houses we’ve looked at recently in prime Bklyn have had price cuts. And more probably still to come – or maybe sellers will just start pricing more realistically to begin with (which would be healthy for the market). But sellers shouldn’t panic – you can be sure they’ll still make a killing over what they paid (as long as they bought before 2005).
Yes. There is another Midwood. The one in Brooklyn where houses are selling for over 2 1/2 million dollars!
I knew someone at Yale from Midwood, Nebraska. Is there another Midwood?
With a 6000 sq foot lot, the midwood house will definitly see the wrecking ball. Thats how midwood rolls!
This house in Midwood will more than likely face the wrecking ball as well, to be replaced by one of those Midwood style mini or maybe not so mini mansions.
Yes, that’s how Midwood generally rolls for a house like this. Wood frames frequently face the wrecking ball. New stucco and brick homes go up in place. , not apartment buildings, for the most part.
Maybe there should be a Last week’s “lowest” sales???
Wow, I think that $2.5 for that Slope house was a good deal. It’s beautiful and in a great location.
I feel bad for these lonely threads.
