Check out the description of how a hypothetical widget session plays out on the link.
I could see myself there sipping Miller
ROFL, DH!
Slopey, big Doonesbury fan here!
I’m with mopar – the blurb was funny.
DH;
LOL!!! Good one!!!!
Coincidentally it also got awarded the “best place in ny to argue about the origin of meatballs”
Yeah, I thought it was funny. And accurate. To me, the brownstoner widget reflects what that poster would OFFER, not what she/he think the house is worth, nor what the house will ultimately sell for.
Oh, the blurb was funny. Lighten up people.
easy babs. i like obama and i think the npp was a) a joke, and b) something that makes life more difficult for bho (not our resident 50% off version).
i wouldn’t consider the program “amazing” nor benson (or me) “ignorant” for ridiculing the decision and i think it’s actually possible to criticize a decision without it all coming down to “dislike of our President.”

No such thing as bad publicity – one of the best things about this blog is the number of ADULTS who read it, as in people who are mature and older and have a length as well as breadth of experience.
The Village Voice in my observation is something young and self-labelling alternative people read. I certainly don’t think the BEST “elevator speech” aspect of this blog is that the widget allows venting. There could be much else to rave about. The interns who write these snippets basically just describe places, people, and things they’ve come across on their own in their daily so-called-exuberant lives.
But in circularity, no such thing as bad publicity.
Funny, benson, even though we’ve disagreed on this point. See today’s Doonesbury for a different take on when the award was devalued (cough Kissinger cough).
