Snarky? How is that comment snarky? The Heights has a thing (pre-war large apartment buildings and higher prices for less space on average than the rest of the boro – I did call it a ‘great building’ didn’t I?) that I’m assuming a fair majority of the folks on this site may not be into since they are logging onto a site called ‘brownstoner’ which, by its nature, connotes 4-5 floors of living at most in neighborhoods that are historically not as pricey as the Heights. I’ve been apartment hunting in the Heights myself for the past year. Sheesh, lighten up, its the holidays!
anonymous, what’s with the snarky comment (if you’re into the whole heights thing). the mansion house is better built than the crap that passes for new construction, plus the room sizes are terrific. the mansion house brings back many happy memories.
Good space (exceptional closet space) in the mansion house (great building if your into that whole Heights thing) and good light – southern exposure, but it looked out onto non-interesting back yards and the kitchen and bath needed to be totally ripped out (1950’s special). I’m surprised it went so high. We almost offered 450, but didn’t love it enough.
walk through shower? is that like a car wash? new feature by me.
I remember 330 Wyeth was listed for $925,000 first, then $899,000 … and it kept on dropping
One loft in this building has a giant mural of Lenin visible on an inner wall. You know, for the workers…
