The seller of 753 Putnam Avenue bought the modestly-sized house in Bed Stuy back in 2007 for $490,000. He then proceeded to do a very refreshing renovation. It’s not traditional, but it’s one of those modern yet sensitive approaches that works very nicely in old houses, especially when there’s not a ton of detail to contend with. Anyway, we like it and are interested to see whether the upgrades can justify the new price of $625,000.
