If 551 74th Street fetches its asking price of $1,075,000, we’re guessing it would be some kind of record for a three-story rowhouse in Bay Ridge. The two-family house is bound to show well, given the combination of original details and modern updates. The house traded for $841,750 back in 2005 so, given the renovation costs, maybe it’s not that big a stretch. What do the Bay Ridge readers out there think?

Wouldn’t this “technically” be considered a 2-story if one is below ground?
I love the kinds of garden kitchen where there is a walk-out backyard, which makes for fantastic party and gathering space. (i imagine this ne has stairs up? I agree w/ daveinbedstuy too about parlor giving a piece to everyone in the house!
But the price is …… for bay ridge …… ? I really think i’m behind the curve here.
