Here’s fun one! This brownstone at 453 Greene Avenue in Bedford Stuyvesant has nice bones, if by bones you mean shell. The facade is majestic but other than that it’s hard for a property to be in much worse shape, which is why the asking price of $625,000 sounds like a big stretch to us in this location. Besides, the seller paid $455,000 for the place back in 2005 and hasn’t exactly done anything to improve the place in the mean time. Heck, we’re not even sure it’s worth what he paid for back then. It’s gonna take at least $750,000 to make this place livable and more than that to make it nice.
