While this two-family house has lost some of its original details, it still has charm and appears to be in move-in condition. The fireplace in the front bedroom in the owner’s duplex (originally the parlor when this was a single family) has the most spectacular Aesthetic Movement tile we’ve seen yet. Although there are no photos of kitchens and baths, usually a bad sign, in this case it would unwise to assume they need work. We’ve been in the owner’s duplex, and if memory serves, the updated kitchen is not flashy but it is solid. Currently configured as a rental over an owner’s duplex, the property last traded hands in 2009 for $535,000. Now the sellers are asking $899,999. Do you think they will get their price?
