This four-story brownstone at 381 Greene Avenue in Bedford Stuyvesant hit the market last week with an asking price of $999,000. Located between Franklin and Bedford Avenues, it’s a generously sized house with interiors of varying levels of attractiveness. On the plus side, there’s definitely some nice original woodwork; on the minus side, the kitchen’s a bit of a bummer and the parlor floor ceiling has an unusual finish. The backyard is just a concrete lot at this point too. A few weeks ago we might’ve pooh-poohed the asking price for this location but the townhouse market is hot enough right now that anything could happen.
