House of the Day: 33 Claver Place

This makes absolutely no sense at all. A nice-but-not-stunning, large-but-not-huge townhouse at 33 Claver Place in Bed Stuy hit the market last week with a befuddling price of $1,850,000. The brick building, which underwent a decent-but-not-great renovation eight years ago, is currently divided into four units. The parlor floor has some nice detail but the bathroom featured in the listing is kinda meh. Seems like looney tunes pricing to us. And we’re not the only ones—Curbed had an equally incredulous reaction a few days ago.
