House of the Day: 193 Washington Avenue

$1,300,000 for a 20-foot-wide house on Washington Avenue in Clinton Hill sounds like a steal at face value, but in the case of 193 Washington there are some pretty good reasons for the price. While the shingles on the exterior have some charm, the interior appears to be lacking in original detail (save for the bannister and the floors). Still, for someone looking for a gut reno, the location’s good and the house itself is decently-sized. We’ll be curious to see what it goes for.
