House of the Day: 177 Maple Street

177 Maple Street was a House of the Day back in December of 2008 when it was on the market for $929,000; it ended up selling for $850,000 to an architect who ended up doing an extensive (and quite attractive) renovation. The house is now back on the market with an asking price of $1,199,000. We particularly like the new kitchen that opens up directly onto the back yard. Given the improvements this should certainly be asking a good deal more than it originally went for but it’ll be interesting to see if the three-story limestone pad can fetch this much in this location.
