This new listing at 147 85th Street in Bay Ridge is described by the broker as “A Celebration of old world style and elegance & dramatic detailing.” Suffice it to say that it doesn’t seem like the kind of place we’d want to hang our hat but different strokes for different folks. We’re sure there’s plenty of shiny marble and other “luxury” touches if that’s your bag and given the size of the house (almost 5,000 square feet) and the lot it’s on (93 by 100 feet), the price of $3.2 million doesn’t surprise us.
