This bay-windowed, light yellow brick two-family from the turn of the last century is modest, but in good original condition judging by the photos. It has its original front doors, decorative wall molding, stained glass, and a deep back yard. The house consists of two floor-through apartments, so there is no parlor floor or large owner’s duplex, but the top unit has an extra bedroom and decent closet space, and there is also some extra space in the basement. Do you think the ask of $599,000 sounds reasonable?

Well, it seems to me that at least one catch is the neither bedroom in the first-floor apt has a single window.
bbb, this house a tad under-priced, even with the housing projects there.
If what you are asking is…….., yes – there are enough white, hipster kids now walking down Schenectady Ave, for “some” priced out home buyers to feel comfortable – enough, to hold their nose and buy in Crown Heights East. Like Franklin Ave oh so 4 years ago.
